Had a great time saturday afternoon meeting some of the other group coordinators in London and the South East. Many thanks to Emma ( Croydon), Cristina (Bromley), Janet ( Ealing), Cassie ( Highgate), Lorien ( Slough), and Angie( the soon to be up and running Epsom) for coming along and bringing huge amounts of cake! Also thanks to Kate for doing all sorts of media type things!!
It was great to put some faces to names and to hear about what everyone else is up to. We must do it again soon.

So today I decided to join the 21st century and set up a website for Free Cakes for Kids Sutton. Its in its infancy at the moment and it will take me a while to make it look beautiful.
So we are now on Face Book, Twitter and you can Google us. But what we really want to be doing is baking more cakes for kids in the Sutton area. I'm hoping to contact some more organisations and perhaps remind a few that we have been in touch with before that we are here, spatulas at the ready! |
